MBA in Hospital Management

The healthcare industry is rapidly expanding and there is a growing need for providing superior healthcare services to the public. In such a scenario, Hospital Management courses have gained a lot of importance.

There is a growing requirement for trained administrators in the hospitals who can deliver top quality services within minimal time. This is the reason why these days you have full-time Hospital Management Courses throughout the world. In order to fulfill the demands of health centres across the country, many career institutes have designed special courses in Hospital Management. Students interested in doing public service while earning a good salary package can opt for an MBA in Hospital Management.  

The eligibility conditions for Hospital Management Courses are different for different institutes. Students from non-medical background can also opt for hospital administration courses. Since the healthcare industry is growing fast, the number of institutes offering health care is also increasing. At present, more than two lakh health care institutes are in need of hospital administrators in India.

The Medical Council of India has come ahead to standardize the curriculum of Hospital Management Courses. These institutes are: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, Nizam Institute of Medical Science in Hyderabad, Kasturba Medical College in Manipal and Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Jammu and Kashmir. The minimum requirement for getting admission in these institutes is M. B. B. S.
